Ambient's team has experience in entrepreneurship, business operations, technology and customer psychology.

President - David Rose is an interactive media visionary and entrepreneur. In 1998 he founded Viant's Innovation Center, an advanced technology group which prototypes for Fortune 500s (Compaq, Sony, GM, Schwab, Fleet, etc.) how disruptive technologies will impact their businesses. His prior entrepreneurial experience includes founding Interactive Factory in 1992, a new media design firm that specializes in broadband applications and smart toys; and opholio.com, a digital photosharing service that was acquired by Flashpoint technology in 2000. David majored in physics and fine art at St. Olaf College, holds a Masters degree in educational psychology from Harvard University and studied Interactive Cinema at the MIT Media Lab.

   
    VP Technology- Benjamin Resner has seven years of professional software programming experience, as well as solid academic credentials. In industry, he led the development of over ten widely deployed and commercially successful consumer software products. Prior to joining Ambient, Ben worked at PF. Magic where he was a creator and the technical lead for the Petz product line, with sales over 4 million units. Prior to PF. Magic, Ben was a senior programmer at Berkeley Systems where he led technical development of their licensed screen savers for Disney, Star Trek (Paramount) and The Simpsons (Fox). Ben recently earned his Master's degree at the MIT Media Lab, where his research included ambient forms of interpersonal communication.


          
         VP Operations- Pritesh Gandhi worked for the New England Affiliate of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, a leading Silicon Valley venture firm, and at Cambridge Incubator in operational and marketing roles. Pritesh's prior managerial experience was at a property management firm where he oversaw operations and finance. He received his BS and MBA from Boston University, where he concentrated in marketing and entrepreneurship.


   
   

VP Strategic Alliances - Nabeel Hyatt
is an experienced leader in growing technology start-ups. Most recently Nabeel served as COO of Teamtalk Inc, a global sports media and technology company, where he oversaw key relationships including World Cup clients FIFA. Prior to that he was VP of Operations at internetsoccer.com, overseeing international growth and eventual sale to Teamtalk. He was VP of Web Development at Demosphere, a content and statistical management technology company. In 1997 he founded Interphase Designs, a new media company tailoring to publishing giants such as Bantam Doubleday Dell.


          
         Executive Advisor - Professor Hiroshi Ishii, Director of the Tangible Media Group at the MIT Media Lab, is Ambient's advisor and intellectual leader. Hiroshi is an expert in the field of Human Computer Interaction and has published extensively on the subject of tangible interfaces and ambient technology. He provides the management team with guidance and advice regarding the use and applications of our technology.


   
   

Design Engineer - Katrina Haff combines skills in sculpture and technology to help Ambient create prototypes of new wireless services. Prior to Ambient Katrina worked in the R&D division of Z-Corp on color calibration for 3D printing. Katrina was a programmer at the Boston Interactive Group, where she developed dynamic marketing technologies for Compaq, Lotus, Fidelity, Harvard and Houghton Mifflin. Katrina earned her BFA at Parsons School of Design in NYC, and majored in writing and literature at the New School.
