The Ambient Beacon automatically tunes in to to the local weather forecast for the day. Beacon displays the high local temperature for the day as a color, and pulses subtly in proportion to the chance of rain. Just as on a radio or television forecast, the temperature for the current day is shown before 6pm, and the high temp for the following day is shown after 6pm.
